Scottie Adams, RT, RDMS, RVT

I have had a lifelong fascination with the human body and its physiology. My interest in sonography began when I was having weekly ultrasounds during my first pregnancy. I was in awe of the detail and the way I was able to connect with her before she had even arrived. There was a great sense of peace it provided me, as well, due to some possibilities of medical issues she could be faced with at birth. I knew from that moment on I would be choosing ultrasound for my career.

I attended Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, IA, earning my A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology in 2006. As I entered the workforce,I was able to partner with networking hospitals in the region to cross train in ultrasound and CT. By 2011 I had received my RDMS credential for abdomen and small parts, as well as obstetrics and gynecology. In 2013 I became registered in computed tomography receiving my ARRT CT credential and in 2017 recieved my RVT credential for vascular ultrasound.

I have had the privilege to work at a variety of facilities throughout my career giving me the opportunity to always be learning new skills and improving upon my work.

I moved to the gulf coast in 2018 with my husband, daughter, and son after my husband's retirement from the United States Army. We enjoy spending time out on the water and anything we can do that has us together as a family!

I look forward to all the moments I get the privilege to serve each and every person/family that comes through our door!
